WHAT IS THE UNIMONT LOGO? HOW DO I GET IT?

The UniMont Logo, symbolized by the icon, is the hallmark distinguishing all activities developed and approved by the Mountain University, both in education, such as educational programmes, training activities, and opportunities for internships and dissertations, and in research, including projects and publications.

If you wish to promote your educational and research activities you can apply for the Unimont logo by sending an e-mail at: unimont@unimi.it with the title “request for Unimont logo”. The Mountain University Team will reply as soon as possible, with a careful case by case assessment, providing you with the conditions and functions of the logo, so you can become part of the network of organizations, associations, and businesses engaged in the development and promotion of mountain areas.

HOW CAN I BECOME A PARTNER IN THE “MOUNTAIN UNIVERSITY” PROJECT?

All institutions and associations active and operating in mountain areas are invited to contribute to the development of Mountain University projects. To become a partner of the “Mountain University” send an e-mail at: unimont@unimi.it with the title “request for partnership” explaining your request. We will soon be in touch.

HOW CAN I JOIN THE TEAM?

All researchers and professionals expert in mountain issues are invited to take part in the development of the project and to actively contribute to the promotion of teaching and research in the mountains. If you are willing to get involved and provide your operational input to Mountain University projects, send an e-mail at: unimont@unimi.it.

WHERE CAN I FIND MOUNTAIN UNIVERSITY EDUCATION PROGRAMMES?

All education programmes of the Mountain University are highlighted by the UniMont logo. From the home page, click on “Training” and you will be redirected to the page containing all the training activities of the University of the Mountain. Our training activities are distinguished between: the three-year degree course; specialization courses for graduates and professionals; seminar activities, workshops and conferences.

CAN I REPORT A COURSE, A NEWS, AN OPPORTUNITY FOR DISSERTATIONS AND INTERNSHIPS, ETC.?

To report a training activity, a call, research project, or other relevant opportunities and information relating the mountains, you can send an email to unimont@unimi.it, with the subject “Reports for the portal”. We would be grateful for any information you wish to provide.

I NOTICED AN INACCURACY IN THE INFORMATION ABOUT A COURSE, SEMINAR, A CALL, AN OPPORTUNITY FOR DISSERTATIONS AND INTERNSHIPS, ETC…

The Unimont portal welcomes the support of its visitors who provide information and subject matter. It can therefore happen that some information may be incorrect or outdated. All contributions are appreciated: please send an e-mail to unimont@unimi.it with the subject ” “to improve the portal”, specifying where the error is and correcting any inaccurate information.

HOW DOES THE NETWORKING SERVICE WORK?

The Networking service of the UniMont portal allows you to find:

  • researchers experienced in mountain issues;
  • public and private institutions and organizations which work to promote and enhance mountain areas;
  • businesses operating and located in mountain areas.

Through the search engine on the “researchers networking” and “organizations networking” pages you can select an area of ​​interest to obtain information allowing you to get in touch with leaders in the sector both in Italy and abroad.

HOW OFTEN IS THE SITE UPDATED?

The site is updated weekly. Therefore, if you provide information by sending an e-mail, you may have to wait a few days before you see it published on the portal.
