The Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas aims to prepare graduates who have acquired – in addition to the scientific method of investigation and experimentation – good basic knowledge in the main sectors of agricultural and forestry sciences.

Seminars & Webinars

Through the Ge.S.Di.Mont – UNIMONT offers numerous educational and seminar activities with free participation. Often these are events open to the public held in Edolo, at other universities or locations and all delivered even remotely, through a virtual classroom via on-line streaming in which participants can actively participate.

RacCONTA LA MONTAGNA (“Narrate the mountain”) is a literary fair dedicated to nonfiction and mountain fiction that wants to highlight the cultural and evocative “power” of the mountain. The initiative is a Ge.S.Di.Mont project in memory of Alida Bruni


Saffron is a valuable agro-food product that can be grown in marginal and mountain Italian areas and suitable for sustainable agricultural practices. Therefore it is a recurring topic in Ge.S.Di.Mont – UNIMONT reseach centre – activities.
