Education

Considering the peculiarities of mountain areas and with the certainty that the development and enhancement of these areas for the benefit of the whole society requires a specific cultural and technical operational approach, UNIMONT aims to train and educate professionals who are experts on mountain areas, who are able to express their potential with a view to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

UNIMONT’s offer is expressed in a three-year Bachelor’s degree course, a Master’s degree course of the University of Milan and in the lifelong learning activities managed by Ge.S.Di.Mont Research Center. The offer is aimed at guaranteeing a multidisciplinary approach to the specific subjects of the mountain territory and opportunities for practical and professional training sessions which, thanks to the use of innovative technologies, can also be enjoyed remotely, throughout the national territory and also in the most remote areas.

Bachelor’s Degree

The Bachelor’s Degree in Development and Protection of Mountain Environment aims to prepare graduates who have acquired – in addition to the scientific method of investigation and experimentation – good basic knowledge in the main sectors of agricultural and forestry sciences.

Post-Degree Courses

UNIMONT – through the Ge.S.Di.Mont Research Center – offers different post degree courses that aim to transform young people from all over Italy into trained and expert professionals for the development of the mountains. These are face-to-face, distance or blended-learning courses. On this page you can discover all the courses!

Seminars & Webinars

Through the Ge.S.Di.Mont – UNIMONT offers numerous educational and seminar activities with free participation. Often these are events open to the public held in Edolo, at other universities or locations and all delivered even remotely, through a virtual classroom via on-line streaming in which participants can actively participate.
