MOUNTAIN ETHNOBOTANY : a further tool for fostering sustainable rural development?

Traditional and local ecological knowledge concerning plants in mountain and peripheral areas has gained the attention of an increasing number of scholars in recent years. We will try to discuss together how the revitalisation of this heritage could help fostering community-centred sustainable rural development and generating virtuos small-scale circular economies.
