UNIMONT HOSTS A WORKSHOP ORGANIZED AS PART OF THE INTERREG ALPINE SPACE ALPFOODWAY PROJECT

The AlpFoodway project partners will meet with experts from the Alps to discuss Alpine Food Heritage at UNIMONT on 8th and 9th July.

As part of a work package for the Interreg Alpine Space AlpFoodway project, 10 pilot cases have been implemented in 5 Alpine locations to develop innovative ways to update traditional practices and safeguard sustainable production landscapes.

The pilot cases adopted an experimental approach to develop replicable training tools and formats for various aspects of the enhancement of Alpine Food Heritage; their applicability was tested in the pilot areas and the results have been evaluated. The participants of the meeting will discuss the results in the afternoon on 8th July and will make an excursion to a nearby pilot area in Valle Camonica on 9th July.

Those wishing to participate can register by 1st July by sending an e-mail to florian.ortanderl@hm.edu.

The meeting will be held in English.
