The Mountain University – the Edolo campus of the University of Milan – has been invited to bring its testimony to the national conference “New Farmers for an Ecological Agriculture”, which takes place at Musil – Museum of Industry and work in Rodengo Saiano’s on 10th, 11th and 12th of October 2017.
The Luigi Micheletti Foundation and Slow Food Italia have organized a national conference “New Farmers for an Ecological Agriculture” to gather some of the Italian ecological farming experiences that emerge in the different territorial contexts and analyze the association forms involving the new farmers and citizens who are increasingly approaching a different lifestyle and consumption.
Recognizing the importance of the Mountain University as a center of excellence for teaching and researching the mountain areas and as an innovative university campus for the promotion of mountain companies, Professor Anna Giorgi will be the chairwman of the second part of the session “Italian Experiences” . UNIMONT is is testimony of a comeback to mountain, especially for young people, who are a fundamental resource to invest in, by promoting sustainable development in the mountain areas.
