An opportunity for discussion on the value of water as a resource and a driver of development, featuring the participation of Prof. Anna Giorgi, Head of the UNIMONT Campus of the University of Milan.
On Saturday, September 26, 2026 the Mezzocorona Hydroelectric Power Plant will host the 2026 edition of the TEDxTrento Salon, entitled “ACQUA: generare valore, costruire futuro”. The event will transform a landmark of Trentino’s energy production into a laboratory of ideas and vision, exploring water as a resource, an environmental and social value, and a driver of regional development.
The event, supported by Consorzio dei Comuni della Provincia di Trento B.I.M. dell’Adige and conceived by format licensee Mirta Alberti, will feature the participation of Prof. Anna Giorgi, Head of the UNIMONT campus of the University of Milan, who will guide the audience in viewing mountains as strategic places of knowledge, resilience, and sustainable development. Olympic champion Tania Cagnotto and geopolitical analyst Dario Fabbri will also speak. The morning will be hosted by Cinzia Xodo, a trainer and active member of the TEDx community.
