The Master’s Degree in Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas – MOUNTAINSIDE (LM-73) is an international, glocal, multidisciplinary, and “learning-by-doing” program. Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
Do you want to study the mountains with your eyes turned to the world? Immerse yourself in the international dimension of the UNIMONT Campus of the University of Milan, just like the students from UNIMONT – University of Milan, Charles University, and Heidelberg University who took part in the 4EU+ BIP project.
Through fieldwork, hands-on experience with the local territory, and international networking, this experience allowed participants to see firsthand UNIMONT’s role in bridging local, national, and European levels to foster the development of mountain areas.
The MOUNTAINSIDE Master’s Degree combines solid scientific expertise with a uniquely multidisciplinary path. Here, education is glocal: you will learn to manage the practical challenges of mountain regions with a global vision. You will do this through a hands-on, learning-by-doing approach, while studying and living right in the heart of the Alps.
Admissions for the next academic year are open until October 31st. Find out more about the degree program and apply now!
