Building a professional future in the mountains: Vittoria, a MOUNTAINSIDE student, shares her story

From Bachelor’s to Master’s: Vittoria, a student in the international Master’s Degree in Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas – MOUNTAINSIDE (LM-73), shares why she decided to continue her studies at the UNIMONT Centre of the University of Milan, where education, the local territory and the student community support both personal and professional growth.

Why did you choose the Master’s Degree in Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas?

Vittoria: I chose this Master’s Degree because I had already done my Bachelor’s Degree here in Edolo at UNIMONT. I really like this place, the environment where and I’m interested in all the courses of the Master’s programme.

What would you like to do after graduating, and how do you think this Master’s Degree will help you achieve your goal?

Vittoria: In the future, I would like to become a Doctor in Forestry and Agronomy, and I believe this programme prepares me in the right way to take the national professional qualification exam.

What do you think about living and studying in Edolo?

Vittoria: I’ve been living in Edolo for five years, and I really like being here because of the mountain landscape and also for the student community.
