A project carried out by the CrC Ge.S.Di.Mont.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The term <strong>agricultural biodiversity or agrobiodiversity<\/strong> indicates all the genetic heritage related to agro-food in a given territorial area.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The knowledge of Italian plant agrobiodiversity is useful for its protection and conservation but also for relaunching unique and high quality agro-food chains.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In particular, this project was born:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><em>by the &#8220;Agreement of collaboration between the Lombardy Region and Ge.S.Di.Mont, for scientific and applied research and dissemination of knowledge inherent the Lombard mountain area (pursuant to art. 4 par. 27 of the Regional Law 22\/2016 ) \u201d that generates the project: <\/em><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unimontagna.it\/progetti\/network-dellagrobiodiversita-delle-montagne-lombarde\/\"><strong>NETWORK DELL\u2019AGROBIODIVERSIT\u00c0 DELLE MONTAGNE LOMBARDE<\/strong><\/a>;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">from the &#8220;Operating agreement between DARA &#8211; Department for regional affairs and the autonomies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Ge.S.Di.Mont &#8211; Unimont pole of the University of Milan&#8221; established with the project:<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unimontagna.it\/progetti\/valorizzazione-della-biodiversita-dei-territori-di-montagna-con-particolare-riferimento-all'agrobiodiversita-e-derivati-orizzonti-di-bio-e-green-economy-per-la-montagna\/\"><strong>VALORIZZAZIONE DELLA BIODIVERSIT\u00c0 DEI TERRITORI DI MONTAGNA, CON PARTICOLARE RIFERIMENTO ALL\u2019AGROBIODIVERSIT\u00c0 E DERIVATI: ORIZZONTI DI BIO E GREEN ECONOMY PER LA MONTAGNA<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>To see all the available map and data on the number, characteristics and ecotypes of species cultivated in mountain areas, please visit the relative page in Italian. <a href=\"\/_new?page_id=368\">You can find it here<\/a>.<\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This section of the site is dedicated to the national census of all the cultivated agricultural varieties that make up Italian agrobiodiversity.
