The seminar aims to share new models of economy strongly linked to the valorization of territories and their traditions. Adopting such innovative growth models also means creating new opportunities (generating visibility) for local communities and thus promoting sustainable as well as economic development.
In an era in which the web can be considered the primary means and vehicle for obtaining information and disseminating knowledge, the use of technological tools can be considered an essential element in the pursuit and attainment of the objective of sustainable territorial growth. Speakers will focus on the technological tools that can facilitate and realize the way forward aimed at valorizing places/territories, their traditions and the local communities that inhabit them. Specifically, the TRusTTM application will be presented, a web and mobile platform for the traceability and “storytelling” of produce and products, and value-added services deriving from its efficient use such as: possibility to develop multi-thematic paths, possibility of generating promotional materials (such as brochures, booklets, flyers…), possibility of undertaking social media campaigns, etc.
