Description

The seminar dealt with the cultivation of local cereal varieties traditionally grown in mountain areas of Lombardy and which are nowadays gradually being cultivated once again. In addition to considering the biological, agronomic and nutritional characteristics of various traditional cultivars, importance was also given to their historical-cultural and social aspects, thus the added value they can provide for multifunctional farms that cultivate them not only to produce food for catering but also in order to carry out educational activities.
