UNIMONT at the event TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION AS ALLIES FOR A SMART RURAL ENVIRONMENT: Smart villages for a lively future in remote areas.

On Wednesday 18th January 2022, the UNIMONT Center of the University of Milan, in consideration of the coordination role of the EUSALP Action Group 1 – Research & Innovation as delegated by the Lombardy Region, will participate in the meeting TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION AS ALLIES FOR A SMART RURAL ENVIRONMENT dedicated to identifying the potential of new technologies for the revitalisation of mountain territories.


What are Smart Villages? How can the new technologies support small mountain villages in identifying and implementing strategic actions to promote entrepreneurship and foster the development of innovative services for the local population? These are the questions that the UNIMONT Center of the University of Milan will answer with a speech entitled “Smart villages for a lively future in remote areas”.

The webinar TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION AS ALLIES FOR A SMART RURAL ENVIRONMENT will be held on Wednesday 18 January at 9.00 a.m., with the aim of offering useful information on the vision that European Commission has on this Issue and analyse some interesting European and Basque experiences that may be inspiring
