The territory as a classroom and students as agents of change: this is the essence of the study trip currently engaging students from the International Master’s Degree Program “Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas – MOUNTAINSIDE” and the the Bachelor’s Degree Program “Development and Protection of the Mountain Environment – VALMONT” , promoted by UNIMONT – a center of excellence of the University of Milan.
This multidisciplinary educational experience, developed in collaboration with the GAL Prealpi Dolomiti and the Alpine School of the Guardia di Finanza, combines field-based learning, exploration, and direct dialogue with those who live and work in mountain areas. Field visits and networking with national and international organizations—a hallmark of UNIMONT’s approach—become genuine opportunities for exchange, growth, and sharing within a dynamic, open, and welcoming academic community.
Choosing UNIMONT means much more than enrolling in a degree program: it means becoming part of a national and international network committed to the sustainable development of mountain areas, building meaningful relationships, and actively contributing to the future of the mountains.
If you truly want to live and work for the sustainable development of mountain regions, UNIMONT is your starting point.
Enrollment is now open for the International Master’s Degree Program “Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas – MOUNTAINSIDE.”
