Re-Search Alps is a project financed EU Telecom CEF and led by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE), in collaboration with UNIMONT – University of Milan, the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR), the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research (MENESR) and the SideTrade company.

The project aims to collect and make available to different targets public and private bodies working at local, regional and national level information about Laboratories, Research and Innovation Centers, which are active in the seven countries of the Alpine Area with a special effort made on the 48 EUSALP regions.  The project has been developed based on the aim of the EUSALP Action Group 1 which is “to develop an effective research and innovation ecosystem in the Alpine Region”.

The data of Re-Search Alps describes:

  • What the laboratories and research centers do;
  • Where they are located;
  • Where excellence emerges, according to research fields/themes and figures (active researchers, published papers, won prizes, running EU projects, patents, etc.);
  • People working in a specific center and determining its excellence;
  • Network of relations they highlight in their websites.

Re-Search Alps will provide benefits to Higher Education institutions, SMEs, intermediaries (e.g. technology transfer offices), researchers and policy makers by providing useful data and contacts, fostering collaborative innovation while facilitating the networking process.

The final version of the platform will be available on the 15th of June 2019.
