The 5th Service “Interventions and public works – Mountain Tutelage and Economy” of the Forest Service (Comando Corpo Forestale), in line with the proposal of UO 14 Public Works Programming, is currently identifying institutional subjects (Universities, Park Authorities, Mountain Municipalities, Professional Associations, Companies, etc.) to involve in the promotion of initiatives aimed at revitalizing the mountain economy in the silvopastoral sector at the regional level.
An invitation of collaborationamong institutional subjects has been formalized in order to activate a platform of stakeholders which provide innovative input to Public Administrations.
Interested parties should communicate to the Comando Corpo Forestale the name, telephone number, and email address of the competent contact person.
Once the relevant institutional contacts have been identified, a Network will be set up. So far, a number of professional orders (Veterinary Doctors, Chartered Accountants) and the Municipality of Gangi have formally joined as stakeholders.
