Good practices for the recovery, cultivation and valorization of local traditional cultivars of Lombardy (ReliVe-L)

The project “Good practices for the recovery, cultivation and valorization of local traditional cultivars of Lombardy (ReliVe-L)” will take place from November 2017 to April 2019 with the main objective of improving knowledge of the characteristics of the traditional cultivars of Lombardy, in order to promote their cultivation and increase potential commercial opportunities. As part of this project, UNIMONT – Centre of Excellence of the University of Milan – will organize and provide a series of seminars aimed at all those who are interested in cultivating traditional or unusual mountain cultivars which can, nevertheless, be a source of income for multifunctional mountain farms. All the seminars, free of charge and open to the public, can be enjoyed either at the Main Hall of the Mountain University, or online through a virtual classroom that UNIMONT provides for the public.

ReliVE-L is a project funded by the Lombardy Region under the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 (Measure 1 “Transfer of Knowledge and Information Actions”) with the participation of the University of Pavia (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences) and the University of Milan (Centre of Applied Studies for the Sustainable Management and Protection of Mountain Areas, Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences – Production, Landscape, Agroenergy).
