The Meroni Award is given to people or groups of people who distinguish themselves for their discretion, dedication, originality, social value, solidarity, particular ethical and cultural merits and in volunteer work for the protection and promotion of mountain areas. The award is in memory of Marcello Meroni’s style, passions and interests, and includes prizes for the following sectors: environment, culture, mountaineering and solidarity.

Applications must arrive by 2nd October 2017.
The award ceremony will be held on 11th November, 2017 at the Sala Alessi at Palazzo Marino, Milan, in Piazza della Scala n.2 during an event which is free and open to the general public.
