The course is aimed at holders of bachelor’s and master’s degrees obtained in one of the following classes ex Ministerial Decree 270/2004: L-1 Cultural Heritage; L-3 Disciplines of figurative arts, music, entertainment and fashion; L-6 Geography; L-10 Literature; L-12 Language mediation; L-15 Tourism Sciences; L-18 Economics and Business Administration; L-20 Communication Sciences; L-21 Landscape, urban planning, landscaping and environmental planning; L-22 Sports and sport activities; L-25 Agricultural and forestry sciences and technologies; L-26 Agro-food sciences and technologies; L-32 Science and technology for the environment and nature; L-33 Economics; LM-1 Cultural and Ethnological Anthropology; LM-3 Landscape Architecture; LM-10 Conservation of architectural and environmental assets; LM-12 Design; LM-38 Modern languages for international communication and cooperation; LM-43 Computer Science Methodologies for Humanities; LM-49 Planning and management of tourist systems; LM-56 Economics; LM-59 Public Communication, Business and Publicity Sciences; LM-65 Entertainment and multimedia production; LM-75 Science and technology for the environment and the territory; LM-76 Cultural and Environmental Economics; LM-80 Geographical Sciences; LM-81 Development Cooperation; LM-88 Sociology and Social Research; LM-89 Art History; LM-91 Techniques and Methods for the Information Technology. Graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in other disciplines may also be admitted after evaluation by the course organizers.
The course takes place from 6th March to 24th May, 2017. The application deadline is 9th February 2017.

The advanced course provides basic tools for understanding the mountain area context, with particular reference to territories, communities and institutions operating there. It therefore aims to define the knowledge and skills needed to understand and manage tourism in mountain areas. It also analyses and explores evolution, models and examples available in the economic, socio-cultural and natural contexts of the sector. At the present time, it is important to highlight the potential of new technologies, IT and telematic tools for the promotion and organization of such activities. The course aims to create the conditions for potential career and job opportunities for: accommodation technicians and similar professions; organizers of fairs, exhibitions and cultural events; organizers of conferences and receptions; tour operators and similar professions; travel agents; natural, experiential, cultural and sports guides; tourist guides.
