Call for Applications – Award for Master’s Degree Thesis Sponsored in Collaboration with Rotary Club Lovere Iseo Breno

The Rotary Club Lovere Iseo Breno, in collaboration with the Val.Te.Mo. APS Association, is launching a call for applications for an award dedicated to graduates of the Master’s Degree Program in “Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas (LM-73), offered at the UNIMONT campus of the University of Milan. hub of the University of Milan. The award is aimed at theses focusing on development topics, including entrepreneurial initiatives, related to the Valle Camonica area.

APPLICATION AND DEADLINE:
All students graduating from the Master’s Degree Course in “Valorization and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas” at the UNIMONT hub of the University of Milan by December 31, 2025, are eligible to participate, provided their thesis addresses potential development opportunities for the Valle Camonica territory, with particular attention to the following fields:

  • Innovation and entrepreneurship;
  • Enhancement of the territory’s natural and cultural resources;
  • Environmental sustainability and local development;
  • Tourism and new territorial promotion strategies;
  • Technologies applied to the agricultural and industrial sectors;
  • Any other area that may contribute to the economic and social growth of the Camonica Valley.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Candidates must submit the following documentation:

  • A digital copy of the Master’s thesis (PDF format);
  • An abstract of the thesis (max. 2 pages);
  • Curriculum vitae;
  • A motivation letter highlighting the impact of the thesis on the development of Valle Camonica.

All documentation must be sent no later than December 31, 2025, to the email address info@valtemo.it with the subject line: “AWARD FOR MASTER’S DEGREE THESIS”.

 

EVALUATION AND AWARD ASSIGNMENT:

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of representatives from the Rotary Club Lovere Iseo Breno, in collaboration with Val.Te.Mo. APS Association and and experts in the relevant fields. The evaluation criteria will include:

  • Originality and potential innovation proposed by the research;
  • Applicability and impact on the development of Valle Camonica;
  • Scientific and methodological quality of the work.

The winner will receive a prize of €1,000.00.

The award will be presented during a public event organized by Rotary Club Lovere Iseo Breno in collaboration with Val.Te.Mo. APS. Details of the ceremony will be communicated to the winner in due time.
