Admission open and scholarships available for the Post-degree course RECORDING ROCK-ART

On Friday, the 11th of May 2018 the admission to the course “Recording rock-art: new technologies for the documentation and management of mountain and valley heritage”  opens.

The course proposed by the Mountain University (the Edolo campus of the University of Milan) in collaboration with the Centro Camuno di Studi Preistorici aims to develop new professionals for the field and transform historical/cultural heritage into a valuable lever for regional development and economical growth, bringing together complementary disciplines so as to create ideas and methodologies and enrich the field experience of future rock-art specialists.

Five scholarships available to cover the registration fee for the Postgraduate Course RECORDING ROCK-ART, will be awarded by the AEM Foundation and will be given to the highest ranked candidates as evaluated by the Mountain University.

The course, which last 30 hours, will take place entirely in English including both theoretical and practical sessions:

  • 13th of July: first theoretical lecture at the Moutain University in Edolo or via streaming
  • From the 3rd to the 7th of September: practical lectures at Centro Camuno di Studi Preistorici in Capo di Ponte
