The Distretto Culturale and the Library System of Valle Camonica, in order to encourage the study of the Valle Camonica area and create a database of relevant research, will be awarding prizes for final theses of Master’s Degree courses concerning the Valle Camonica in its various aspects (history, art, culture, science, economy, environment, personality, etc …).
The prize amounts to € 500.00 for each paper.
The prizes will be awarded on the basis of a request formulated on a special form, presented to the offices of the Comunità Montana, head of the Distretto Culturale di Valle Camonica, accompanied by a hard copy of the thesis and, if available, a copy in electronic format (on cd/dvd). For theses on general topics, the experimental or applicative part concerning the Valle Camonica area must be at least 30%. The works will be deposited and cataloged at the Valle Camonica District Library in Breno, and will be available to the public.
Authorization for consultation is implicit in the request for the prize. In consideration of the budget available, priority in assigning prizes will be determined by the date of presentation of the relative request and the thesis itself to the protocol office of the Comunità Montana di Valle Camonica.
