On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM (CET), the online event “Knowledge platforms and tools to support climate change adaptation” will take place. The session will be dedicated to presenting digital tools that support climate change adaptation in mountain areas. The event, held in English, is part of the Horizon Europe MountResilience Project, coordinated by Prof. Giorgi, Head of the UNIMONT Hub of the University of Milan.
During the webinar, two innovative knowledge platforms will be presented: the MountResilience Solutions Database, developed within the project and focused on European mountain regions, which provides a wide collection of adaptation solutions with particular emphasis on Nature-based Solutions (NBS); the Adaptation at Altitude Solutions Portal, a globally oriented platform that gathers concrete and tested examples of climate change adaptation in mountain communities around the world.
These tools represent a shared repository of experiences and best practices, aiming to inspire concrete action and support professionals, policymakers, and local communities in developing effective strategies to strengthen the resilience of mountain regions in the face of climate change.
Participation is free of charge, but online registration is required.
