A webinar dedicated to the Community of Practice (CoP) of the MountResilience project, funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Missions on Adaptation to Climate Change, to share practical strategies and approaches for stakeholder engagement in climate resilience.
On 19 March 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, the online event MountResilience Community of Practice: Engaging mountain communities for climate adaptation will take place. The meeting is organized as part of MountResilience, a European project led by the UNIMONT Campus of Università degli Studi di Milano as lead partner.
Through its Community of Practice (CoP), a network bringing together regions, organizations, and practitioners, the project promotes the sharing of practical solutions and the strengthening of climate resilience in mountain areas through networking and mutual learning.
The webinar will provide an opportunity to discuss practical experiences and tested approaches to stakeholder engagement, addressing crucial issues such as conflicting priorities, continuity beyond project lifespans, and the need to adapt engagement methods to local contexts. The goal is to provide useful tools to ensure that adaptation strategies are effective and lasting, optimizing the human and financial resources available to local authorities.
