The research is intended to provide a specific framework on the phenomenon of ‘multifunctional agriculture and provide the guidelines for the introduction of new tools for the creation of new multifunctional agricultural enterprises.
At the center of this scientific research is the topic multifunctionality of farms, which are recognized not only as drivers for economic development and environmental protection, but also for the local resources’ enhancement and for the improvement of citizens’ lifes.
The aim of the project is to trace:
• the picture on the phenomenon of multifunctional agriculture in Lombardy and Piedmont (Novara and VCO);
• guidelines for effective promotion and support for the creation of new multifunctional agricultural enterprises, with particular attention to the legal aspects and contractual forms for the sale of public land to young entrepreneurs.
