PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR MOUTAIN AREAS

The main objective of the course is to develop strategic competences that are fundamental not only to participate in calls for funding and eligible financial programs to subsidize projects in mountain areas, but also to develop and manage all phases of the projects for enterprises, institutions, organizations, local authorities, mountain communities operating in marginal areas and mountain regions.

The notice for the 2015/16 graduate course in PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR THE MOUNTAINS is now available.

 

The aim of the course is to create mountain professionals able to support public and private bodies/authorities in the design and implementation of complex financing projects for the development of business opportunities and  enhancement of mountain areas through the participation in national and European calls.

  • Course location: University of the Mountain, Edolo (BS) branch of the ‘University of Milan
  • When: November 13, 2015 – February 27, 2016
  • Deadline for entries: October 9, 2015
  • Classes: Friday afternoon and Saturday every week
  • Duration: 60 hours
  • Requirements: graduates of any class (I or II level – Postgraduate level)
  • Language: Italian or English
  • Teaching Mode: Blended learning – face to face at the Mountain University Edolo, or remotely (videoconference), for those who cannot attend
  • For agronomists and foresters participants 7.5 CFP will be recognized in accordance with the Regulation of CONAF
  • The course relies on the collaboration with the Alpine Convention, which will help provide participants with tools and knowledge regarding the implementation of specific projects in the Alps in line with the Treaty and the implementing protocols of the Alpine areas.
